Research On Ownership Structure Of China's Listed Commercial Banks

Ownership structure is the basis of the corporate governance. Ownership structure determines the effectiveness of the corporate governance and the performance of the company to a large extent. Listed commercial banks play an important role in modern economy, so its ownership structure has become a very important and far-reaching issue.From this point of view, taking the ownership structure and governance structure as objects, we investigated the governance effect of ownership structure of listed banks and the problems existing ownership structure. Then, we proposed the suggestions and methods to resolve these problems. It has practical and instructive function for the optimization of the ownership structure and improvement of the governance of listed banks in our country.At first, the thesis analyses and expounds the theory of Ownership structure and corporate governance so as to reveal the relationship among ownership structure, corporate governance and the corporate performance. Then the thesis has compared two models of Ownership structure, the highly distracting ownership structure and relatively centralized ownership structure. And then bases on our country's practical situation , the thesis analyzes the governance effect of ownership structure of Chinese listed banks in detail. Finally, provides a series of supplementary measures in structure of the listed commercial bank refer to its optimizing the ownership defects.
