| Globalization and regional cooperation are two characteristics of this society. Regional cooperation is the precondition of globalization. Currently, regional cooperation is popular worldwide. EU is the most developed regional organization. By the end of 2005, NAFTA was also officially opened. However, as a very important part of the world economy, Asia has got no official regional cooperation. China,Japan and Korea are the most important economies in Northeast Asia. The establishment of China-Japan-Korea Free Trade Area(CJK FTA) is greatly conducive to East Asia Regional Cooperation. Based on the theories of Economic Union and Free Trade, first the paper analyzes the possibility of CJK FTA in terms of closer economic and trade relationship and complementation of economic structure. After analyzing the barriers faced by CJK FTA, this paper gives some suggestions and strategies for the establishment of CJK FTA. Due to the politic contradiction between China,Japan and Korea, it is better for CJK FTA to start with cooperation between enterprises. Finally , this paper gives some prediction for the process of CJK FTA. |
