Analysis Of Korea-China Free Trade Agreement

With the rapid development of the economic globalization and regional economicintegration, the world’s most dynamic economies in East Asia for regional economic integrationprocess to speed up the demand for the countries of the region gradually become a concern andthe focus of the study.In this paper, China is a strong candidate as potentially beneficial FTA partner for Korea.For Korea, China is a neighboring country that has become the largest trade partner, and has animmense potential for future economic growth, in particular after its entry into the WTO. Koreashould therefore best utilize China’s economic dynamism and rapid growth to stimulate its owneconomic growth. The purpose of this study is to assess the economic effects of Korea-ChinaFTA and also to analyze the main issues that are likely to emerge in the process of FTAnegotiations. Under the trend of global bilateral trade, however there are some problem andchallenge for both countries, Korea and China will be the eventual establishment of FTA, justneed more time to negotiation.
