Operational Risk Management And Research Of Construction Bank Of China, AnHui Branch

The management of operational risk is one of the hotspot in the present risks control managements of the commercial banks. Nearly all of the bank cases are relative to the operational risk control. Comparing to the credit risk & market risk, the operational risk is more difficult to be controlled. So the problem has to be faced and solved by all of the banks.First of all, I would like to indicate the basic theory of the operational risk, which is including the definiens, sort, basic character and course of managerment.Secondly, I conclude the mistakes of cognization in the operational risk management according to the present problems and status of risk control in the Construction Bank of China, AnHui Branch. After analysising, assorting, composing the different operational risks cases in the recent 3 years, I think the operational risk mainly exists in seven parts of banks operations, which are areas, layers, channels, key post, business department (products), business steps, and the supervised section. I deeply analysis the reasons from the organization frame, base staff collocated & managed, rules of bestirring & assessing, inter controlled system, course management, system construction, ect, which are mainly connected to the systems & mechanisms. At last, I indicate the countermeasures for the managements of operational risks in Construction Bank of China, AnHui Branch. And pertinently point out the most important problems including basic managements, combined sources supervised, centralized audit, teasing operation flow, increasing the ability of pre-alert & control, perfecting the management of systems & mechanisms, ect; developing & setting up the long-term and workable operational risk control system.To be brief, I study the management principal parts, management contents & management technologies in operational risk prevention. After the research, I try to find out some effective methods of operational risk control, which could be taken as some references to the management of operational risk control in the commercial banks of AnHui Province.
