A Study On The Impact Of Multinational Corporations' R&D FDI On Chinese Enterprises' Technological Innovation

The main goal of this dissertation is to propose the countermeasures and suggestions of promoting the Chinese enterprises'ability of technology innovation, by the opportunity of the multinational R&D globalization, through the analysis of multinational R&D globalization and the influence on our country's enterprise technology innovation ability. The theory used in this article is mainly the globalization theory about international trade as well as the technology advancement theory in the development economic.The dissertation includes five parts. The first chapter prefaces partial outlines of the background, the significance and the means of this research, as well as the innovations of this paper. The second chapter is theoretical analysis of the R&D investment in multinational and host country enterprise. It analyzes the characteristics of the multinationals'investments and compares their investing behaviors. The third chapter analyzes the characteristics of our domestic technology innovation and analyzes the influence on this innovation by the research of multinational corporations. The fourth chapter gives the model and the case analysis.This chapter establishes a qualitative analysis model about the effect of foreign direct investment on the motive of our domestic enterprises'research, and analyzes the fluctuation tendency of Chinese enterprise R&D investment motive when the foreign enterprise enters our country. The other part of this chapter processes a case analysis, which proposes a route of the technology innovation of our country's handset through analyzing the effects on such innovation engendered by the multinationals'R&D investment. The last part brings forward the strategic choices and the countermeasures. According to the phase and strategic position of China, it gives the idiographic operating steps on both macro and micro lays for our enterprises to react to the global R&D strategies of the multinational corporations. This article systematically carries on the analysis from the theory to the practice, and at last proposes the strategic measures and countermeasures to raise the abilities of innovation in Chinese enterprises, hoping that it could contributes a little to the progress of the Chinese enterprises and development of the economy.
