Study On Evaluation Of Urban Land Resources Sustainable Carrying Capacity And Demostration Research

Along with rapid urbanization, people confront to the problems about resources, population, economy, ecological environment. Urban land resource is the most important scarce resource and the carrier of urban construction and development. In the certain region and time interval, its carrying capacity is limited. Therefore, urban land resources carrying capacity of the research is very important.Based on the summing-up of the research on land resources carrying capacity, take sustainable development theory and urban land resources carrying capacity theory as the theoretical foundation, this paper elaborates on the theory of urban land resources carrying capacity which includes its definition, connotation, basic characteristics and designs one assessment index system of urban land resources carrying capacity which comprises population carrying capacity, building carrying capacity, economy carrying capacity and ecological environment carrying capacity.On the basis of the study of urban land resources carrying capacity theory, this paper takes Chongqing as a case study. After giving a deep insight into natural and ecological conditions in research zone, the paper constructs the evaluate indicator system of urban land resources carrying capacity by selecting some special indicator to analyze urban land resources carrying capacity in Chongqing, forecasts its carrying capacity in 2010, 2015 and 2020 according to the Grey Model and the Cubic Exponential Smoothing Method and puts forwards some measures to strengthen it's carrying capacity. The conclusion is that the nowadays carrying status of urban land resource is low when the present value contrasts with ideal value. With the assessment on dynamic changes of urban land resources carrying capacity from 2005 to 2020, it is showed that urban land resources carrying capacity will be enhanced in future, and the ability of urban land resources sustainable development will also be strengthened. Through the study, the research draws the conclusion that the index system of urban land resources carrying capacity is conductive to ascertain the regularities of the dynamic changes and the trend of evolvement in urban land resources carrying capacity and is also a useful means for the regional sustainable development planning.
