Research On Carrying Capacity Assessment Of Land Resources In Harbin City

The study of land carrying capacity mainly focus on population carrying, it discussed the relationship between population, food and land, generally, people take the population as quantitative indicator, which need food production to support at the same time. With the intensification of global resources and environmental problems, people started to focus on the land capacity research from the perspective of resource constraints, lots of people paid attention to the land resources carrying capacity, the range of research also extended to the whole resources field.Based on the summary of theory and method of existing relevant literatures,This paper analyze the extent, speed and degree of data variation of various types of land use in Harbin from 2003 to 2014. It can be calculated by introducing ecological footprint model and indicators of socio-demographic, economic development and science and technology promotion, we can see that in addition to the ecological carrying capacity declined, social bearing capacity, economic capacity, science and technology and cultural carrying capacity show an upward trend in Harbin city. The index evaluation system of land resources carrying capacity is constructed with its own area characteristics in Harbin. The system includes four subsystem: ecological carrying, social carring, economic bearing, scientific and cultural carrying, which contains 21 evaluation index.The paper selectes range transformation method to get the standardized indicators datas in 2003-2014 from numerous indicators standardized processing method; in the land carrying capacity evaluation methods, it chooses mean-squared deviation method and variation coefficient method to determine the index weights synthetically. Finally, based on land use planning in Harbin as well as current situation and changes of each index, the development trend of land resources carrying capacity in 2020 in Harbin can be predicte, which contributes to proposing the comprehensive development strategies to enhance the level of the land resources carrying capacity in Harbin.
