In recent several years, an impact on regional economic development of industrial cluster is getting remarkable day by day, it has already become one of the most important economic development models in the world. The Industry cluster in China has developed gradually. With the gradually increasing of the opening policy in our country, Chinese enterprises will participate in the world economic competition in larger range, wider fields and higher levels. Facing fierce competitive environment of globalization market day by day, the following is the very urgent problem : how to improve industry competition of our country with the development of present industrial cluster. Therefore, strengthening the theory and demonstration research on the industrial cluster has a very extremely academic and realistic meaning to Chinese economic development in the 21^st centry. Based on the analysis of existing theory and achievement on industrial cluster, this thesis has carefully made a large amount and further study on the competition advantage of industrial cluster by using some research approaches such as theory analysis, Qualitative and quantitative analysis, demonstration analysis.This thesis, on the basis of research, analyzes the competition advantage of shoes industrial cluster in Quanzhou area. First, this thesis gets the conclusion of competition advantage of shoes industrial cluster in Quanzhou area based on the analysis of the theory of advantage of industrial cluster. Second, taking thelocal style------sports footwear industrial cluster in Quanzhou area as example,the thesis studies the factors effecting the competition advantage of shoes industrial cluster in Quanzhou area with the theory of the diamond model. Finally, the thesis analyzes the problems in the shoes industrial cluster in Quanzhou area and proposes the strategies to deal with these problems.
