From the foreign trade relation, the trade competitive power, the trade potential, the trade complementarities, these four aspects to analyze the both-side trade structure between Jilin Province and these three nations. In the analysis process, has utilized Trade Combination Dependence, Foreign Trade Dependence, Trade Special Coefficient, Similarity Exports and Index of Intra-industrial Trade these five commonly used indicators., In the research technique, mainly used digit analysis, made a direct-view to the data, correctly knew the superiority and the inferiority in the external trade of Jilin Province, clearly recognized the potential and problems in the trade between Jilin Province and North Korea, Japan, South Korea, in this foundation to analyze the future development in trade relations between Jilin Province and the entire Northeast Asia area.In the trade with North Korea, Japan and South Korea, Jilin Province has the superiority, regardless on the geography or in the culture; all provided the advantageous condition for Jilin Province in the trade with these three countries. But in the last few years, the economy of Jilin Province has rapidly developed, its foreign trade aspect with the reliance on the markets of North Korea, Japan and South Korea also unceasingly expands, and the trade relations is getting more and more close. Such an enormous potential and rapid pace of development brings opportunities for Jilin Province, simultaneously brings challenges. So focused trade target market, a direct result is to enlarge the risk in the trade development and reduce the ability to dodge these risks in Jilin Province. Therefore, in the time of grasping current superiority in foreign trade development, how to make risks diversification and to develop multi-target markets become the important strategy on the foreign economy and trade development in Jilin Province from now on.The reason that the superiority in foreign trade development of Jilin Province which concentrates with the countries in Northeast Asia area is because of the high degree complementarities between them. This paper analyzes the category of goods from 1 to 9 kinds, the competitive power, similarity exports and index of intra-industrial trade between Jilin Province and North Korea, Japan and South Korea different countries and different products have different characteristics in different years. But generally speaking, the advantageous industry of the development of foreign trade in Jilin Province concentrates in the traditional labor-intensive industries, but lacks in competitive power of higher value-added products. In other words, the structure of import and export commodities is somewhat low in Jilin province, but along with the enhancement of its own technical level in Jilin Province, it still has a very big space for development with such products.Therefore, by the present situation in the trade between Jilin Province and North Korea, Japan and South Korea, we can see that, The trade between Jilin Province and North Korea, Japan and South Korea, even during the trade process with other countries in Northeast Asia, opportunities and challenges, advantages and disadvantages, positive factor and artificial restrictive factor coexist all the time. However, from the long-term development, it still has huge space for development in trade relations between Jilin Province and the surrounding countries in Northeast Asia area, its development prospect is still favored by the experts and scholars from various sectors.
