In Japan-korea Fta Study

The trend toward regional integrated economic has been growing day by day since the 1990'. Compared with WTO, it is easier for regional trade arrangement to get an agreement so that the economical effect is displayed. When EU and NAFTA growing rapidly, the economic integration progress in East Asian area is lagging greatly. China, Japan and Korea, three countries of north-east Asia, holding almost a scale of 90% in East Asia's economic, but have not got any regional cooperation agreement till now, which obviously blocks the development of this area. Therefore it is necessary to set up a regional arrangement and systems among the three countries. At present, under the condition of financial crisis, it has more meaning to set up the China-Japan -Korea FTA. Besides accelerating economic growth, it also can enlarge the export market and resist the financial risk as a whole.Based on the relative theory and empirical analysis, first this paper introduces the trade situation among China, Japan and Korea and their FTA strategy in detail, then analyses the feasibility of China-Japan -Korea FTA basing on the realistic condition and expected economic effect. Next, discuss the obstacles factors which may delay the progress of FTA. At last, the paper makes some proposal to the approach choice and measures on speeding up the FTA.
