Studies on voluntary turnover have been one of the most concerned topics in the field of human resources. In fierce market competitions, personnel is the core strategy to maintain an enterprise` advantageously competitive ability and to realize permanent management. Among all the factors that influence turnover, this thesis focuses on self-confidence. Studies on turnover tendency in this thesis are related to two psychological aims: first, to avoid contemporary dilemma; second, to pursue greater achievement.Self-confidence, as an important factor influencing personal achievement, has been attached with more and more attention. Then how does self-confidence influence turnover? Self-confidence has three dimensions: first, professional confidence; second, communication confidence; third, physical confidence. Through questionnaire research among professional managers and on the basis of the three dimensions mentioned above, the author reveals the way how self-confidence influences turnover, and provides data supports to turnover research of professional managers in China.The author has raised the following 6 basic hypotheses:H1: voluntary turnover with the purpose of avoiding dilemma is significantly correlated with professional confidence;H2: voluntary turnover with the purpose of avoiding dilemma is significantly correlated with communication confidence;H3: voluntary turnover with the purpose of avoiding dilemma is significantly correlated with physical confidence;H4: voluntary turnover with the purpose of pursuing achievement is significantly correlated with professional confidence;H5: voluntary turnover with the purpose of pursuing achievement is significantly correlated with communication confidence;H6: voluntary turnover with the purpose of pursuing achievement is significantly correlated with physical confidence.The author hands out 200 copies of the questionnaire, and gets back 138 copies. Then SPSS For Windows 13.0 is used to analyze the data. Descriptive analysis, correlation analysis and regression analysis are mainly applied in this thesis to test the 6 hypotheses and get to know whether the statistical significant level has been reached.The results demonstrate the followings:1 professional confidence is negatively correlated with the turnover tendency aiming at avoiding dilemma;2 communication confidence is negatively correlated with the turnover tendency aiming at avoiding dilemma;3 physical confidence is negatively correlated with the turnover tendency aiming at avoiding dilemma;4 professional confidence is positively correlated with the turnover tendency aiming at pursuing achievement;5 communication confidence is positively correlated with the turnover tendency aiming at pursuing achievement;6 physical confidence is positively correlated with the turnover tendency aiming at pursuing achievement.In spite of some limitations, there is still great theoretical and realistic significance in this thesis as a whole.
