The Supply Chain Planning Of SWE Company

Supply Chain management (SCM) is that an enterprise gains the supply chain benefits from the management of information flow, material flow and capital flow within its supply chain. It includes the supply management and demand management, purchase of raw materials and spare parts, product manufacture and assembly, inventory control, order management, distribution channel, customer delivery and customer relations, etc.This thesis comes from my own working practice in SWE. It introduces the detail planning of the supply chain system in SWE which just started its testing production in January 2008. It describes the planning and implement of SWE's internal supply chain system in order administration, purchase, inventory control and logistics, etc. It shows the application of SCM in SWE.Based on the common features of SCM and characteristic of SWE, this thesis introduces the details which have been disciplined in SWE supply chain system by functions and processes. It also takes a simple statistics and analysis to results and problems of the testing operation, which has made a solid foundation in SWE supply chain for the further optimization and improvement.
