Employee turn-over is a common problem that influences the development of the hotel industry.Employee satisfaction is becoming a key element and a challenge for hotels to retain the employees. Therefore, the research on employee satisfaction becomes more and more important to the hotel industry.By synthesizing other scholars' findings, the research designed a research model of employee satisfaction:job, leadership, remuneration, promotion, work environment and teamwork have significant influences on employee satisfaction and employee satisfaction influence attitudinal loyalty and behavioral loyalty. The research put forward 9 hypotheses on the relationship among different variables. The research used both qualitative and quantitative methodologies to test the hypothesis and model in order to increase the reliability and stability of the research. For quantitative method, LISREL was used as an analytical method of structural equation model. The survey was conducted in hotels with three stars or more in Tianjin.300 employees were requested to answer the questionnaires and the valid responses were 221.We first made a descriptive statistical analysis to the survey data and then evaluated the reliability and validity for each scale. Finally, the structural model was evaluated with the standardized path coefficients and their associated t values. The main conclusions of this research are as follows:Firstly, job, leadership, remuneration, promotion, work environment and teamwork have significant influences on employee satisfaction.Secondly, employee satisfaction can influence attitudinal loyalty, but not behavioral loyalty. The empirical study of employee satisfaction supports the research result of customer satisfaction.Thirdly, employee's individual traits have significant influences on the research variables. The empirical study suggests that job, leadership, remuneration, promotion, work environment, teamwork, attitudinal loyalty and behavioral loyalty are mediated by employee's gender, age, academic degree, income, and rank.
