This paper reviews the correlative research about the performance evaluation and summarizes the research situation at home and abroad; the current situation and existing problem about performance evaluation of power supply companies in China are analyzed. Influencing factors of performance evaluation about power supply companies in China are analyzed based on characteristics of power supply companies. The system of evaluating indexes of performance evaluation of power supply companies is established scientifically. Information entropy and analytical hierarchy process are used to determine the combined weight of the indexes. Multilevel fuzzy optimization model is introduced into the performance evaluation of power supply companies, which provides a new way for performance evaluation in power supply companies. An example is used to validate the feasibility and veracity of the evaluation method. The evaluation result is analyzed, and feasible suggestions to improve performance management of power supply companies are provided.
