Research On Regional Economic Disparity And Harmonious Development Of Hebei Province

Regional economic disparity is a general indication involved in many factors, such as regional production term, economic base, level of economic development and government regional policy and so on. It is also an important reference when the government is going to establish regional development strategy. Hebei province lines in the eastern coastal area of China, it has achieved great success since China was opened up to the outside world, but it has gone behind compared with other eastern costal province, and develops very imbalance in it. It faces two pressures of rapidly development and harmonious development. Thus, the study of Hebei regional economic disparity has an important practical significance in harmonious development of Hebei's economy and society and the building of the advanced coastal economic and social development province.This paper includes six parts as following. In the introductory part it firstly expounds the research background,the significance and literature at home and abroad, then it generalizes the research contents and thoughts of this paper, and introduces the research frame and the point of innovation; In the second part,it is mainly about the theoretical generalization of regional economic disparity. Fistly,it definetes some conceps about regional economic disparity ;Then it gaves some concludes and commments about the theory of regional economic disparity. In the third part which is a positive part, it firstly appraises the general condition of regional economic disparity in Hebei through calculating average GDP of single target, which shows the absolute disparity and relative disparity are enlarging unceasingly, secondly through decomposing Theil that decomposes regional economic disparity of Hebei into region disparity and sector disparity, it discovers that region disparity of frontline areas gradually replaces sector disparity and acts the main contribution factor in regional economic disparity of Hebei. Finally it deeply analyzes the current situation and characters of region disparity and sector disparity in Hebei, through building synthesis target system that totally reveals regional economic disparity of Hebei to atone the limitation of single target. In the forth part, it more thorough analyzes the formal reasons of regional economic disparity of Hebei from the aspects of physical geography factor, industrial structure factor, political factor, and human capital factor, in view of analyzing totally regional economic disparity of Hebei. In the fifth part it appraises the regional economic disparity at first, and then it states the mentalities and suggestion that will alleviate the regional economic disparity of Hebei and realize harmonious development of economy. In the sixth part it includes conclusion and the problems that should be deal with in the paper.Regional economic disparity is inevitable in the developing process of economy; however, if it is too disparate it will hinder the process of economic marketing and aggravate region conflicts. The author thinks harmonious development of region as a way of handling regional economic disparity is an important measure to deal with nowadays social conflicts and realize economical harmonious development. So Hebei should insist in harmonious development of region in order to make the National economy develop much better and speeder.
