Study On The Regional Economic Disparity And Harmonized Development Of Shandong Province

Phenomenon of the large regional economic differences around the world is common, which is not conducive to the development of world economy. the developing countries is particularly significant. If allowing things go on, the economic development of inertia can cause serious regional economic polarization, a huge risk to the stability and development of society. China is the largest developing country, we must pay attention to the situation of regional economic disparities. This also can promote the development of the region. Shandong Province is located in east China,. With a good geographic conditions and seizing the opportunity of reform and opening up, Shandong Province has achieved rapid economic development, becoming a big economy province. But it causes serious regional economic imbalances in the process of economic development and the trend is getting worse. If left to develop, it will restrict the economic development of Shandong Province and is conducive to the healthy development of the national economy. In this paper, the regional economic difference of Shandong Province were analyzed and finally corresponding countermeasures were put forward. It has important theoretical and practical significance for the coordinated regional economic development in Shandong Province and ultimately contributes to build a harmonious socialist society.This thesise consists of 5 parts. Part1 introduces the background, intention of this theme. Next it introduces abundance of related literatures of home and abroad. Last, this paper summarizes the methods and the advantages of research. The second part describes the connotation and basic theories of regional economic disparities. It explains definition of regional economic differences and the involved basic theory of regional economic differences including balanced and non-equilibrium theory. Part III introduces regional economic development situation in Shandong Province. This section describes the overview of the overall economic development in Shandong Province and it describes the status of regional economic development in Shandong Province from the three aspects level of economic development, people’s living standards, the level of urbanization.The fourth Part introduces a empirical analysis of regional economic differences in Shandong Province. In this paper, research adopts single index and comprehensive index method. In single indicator, it examines time and spatial characteristics of regional economic differences; in comprehensive indicators, it use principal component analysis. Part V intruduces factors affecting regional economic differences in Shandong Province. it uses qualitative and quantitative analysis to explore factors of regional economic differences. Part VI brings forwards designs on harmony development of regional economy aiming at facts of Shandong Province.
