Research On Web-based Project Management System In PLM

In this thesis, firstly, it is discussed sufficiently about the fundamental concept, functions for the PLM (Product Lifecycle Management) from the angle of modern enterprise informationization construction. Then, based on the discussion above, a research on PLM oriented project management technology has been carried out. And by using some software like ER-Win, Visual Studio 2003, SQL Server2000 etc, in view of the present situation of enterprise information construction in China, a development of the web-based project management in PLM is realized as an instance.With the completion of this project, the following innovative results have been obtained in the research:1. Based on the discussion of the PLM technology, the system overall requests and principles of design have been proposed, and web-based project management system structure has been researched too. Besides, some key technologies to realize the project management have been discussed certainly.2. In view of the present situation of enterprise information construction in China, the demand analysis, integrated design and detail design of the web-based project management in PLM are achieved.3. With ER-Win, a tool of database modeling, the database that contains product design and technologic information is designed based on SQL Server 2000. 4. With Visual Studio 2003, a powerful development tool provided by Microsoft Co., the development of the web-based project management which is based on B/S structure is achieved.
