Demonstration Analysis Of The Characters Of Chinese Rural Residents' Consumption And The Factors Influencing Chinese Rural Residents' Consumption

This paper used clustering method educes the stage evolution character of Chinese rural residents' consumption structure and the regional character of Chinese rural residents' consumption, illuminated that the factors influencing rural residents' consumption include income, consumption concept, consumption environment, rural markets and products mix and so on. Then it using qualitative analysis on these factors and choosing indicators quantifying these factors, enduces that these factors influences strongly on rural residents' consumption. But when it using Step-wised Return does significant test on indicators, only income passes the test. Non-income factors' influences on rural residents' consumption can not be neglected, but the most important factor influencing rural residents' consumption is income. It specially analyses the relations between the income and the consumption of rural residents and builds three kinds models of rural residents' consumption. The first kind is about different sources of income's influence on rural residents' consumption inducing that wage income and operating net income of the family both strongly influence rural residents' consumption and marginal propensity to consume of the wage income is higher than the marginal propensity to consume of the operating net income of the family, indicating that the marginal propensity to consume of rural residents' consumption is much more influenced by wage income. The most part income of rural residents' comes from wage got outside. The wage is influenced by many factors and there is much more uncertainty indicating that the source of rural residents' consumption is fragile. The second kind is about different types income on rural residents' consumption inducing that durable income play decisive role in rural residents' consumption. The third kind is about regional pool data models of rural residents' consumption verifying the regional character of rural residents' consumption.There are three innovations in this paper. The first is that it researches the character of rural residents' consumption combining time and space. The second is that it uses Step-wised Return in significant test on indicators of factors' influencing on rural residents' consumption and indicators of different sources of income's influence on rural residents' consumption. The third is that it builds regional pool data models of rural residents' consumption based on regional clustering method' results.
