Spiritual Culture Construction Of Technological Innovation

The 21st century is the era of knowledge-based economy in which innovation is the essential character. Knowledge-based economy bases on intellectual resources and takes high-tech as its support. Nowadays the technological innovation is playing an increasingly important role in knowledge economy. It is an activity in which the creative combination of technology and society has been put into practice by the main body of innovation's practice with a sense of purpose in a certain background of social economy and culture.Modern technology innovation can not be carried out without the culture environment. From the formation of the technological innovation and its evaluation and the selection of vision to the research and the application of it are all affected by the culture. Construction of culture of the technological innovation has become the topic which people are concerned. And a more in-depth research on spiritual culture's construction can deeply reveal the important feature, the inherent mechanism and the social role of the technological innovation.This paper started from concept of the culture. First, descript the composition and patterns of the cultural from the generalization. Second, focus on the spiritual cultural and its structure, also status and role. The spiritual cultural can be divided into religious and philosophical, moral and political, artistic and aesthetic by different division of spirit's production; the spiritual cultural can be also divided into concepts, values, and way of thinking by different functions it takes in the thinking structure. Paper analyses their different characteristics and their different functions. Then, through analysis of various viewpoints to technological innovation's process and stage, the author decided to adopt the technological innovation process into three stages: vision and formative stage of technological innovation; selection and evaluation stage of technological innovation; R & D and application stage of technological innovation. The paper will finally reveal the entire process of how the spiritual culture participates into the technological innovation's construction from the effects of spiritual culture to the formation, evaluation, selection and application of technological innovation. Tow purposes are hoped to be revealed through this research. One is to show that how the negative spiritual culture negatively impact the formation of technological innovation. The other one is to point out the necessary conditions of spiritual culture which can support the technological innovation successfully achieved.
