The Research On Corporate Social Responsibility Strategies Of State Grid Corporation Of China

With the constantly deepening of reform and open policy, as well as fast development of Chinese social economy, social corporate responsibility (CSR) has became an important duty which must undertake for corporations. There core of CSR is to advocate corporations should feedback to society while developing. Social corporate responsibility is a key factor for successful corporations to remain vitality and Sustainable development. Using of their own advantages, corporations solve social, environmental, and other aspects of the staff problems, which enable corporations to fulfill their social responsibility, while simultaneously enhancing economic benefits. So, Social corporate responsibility is a "win-win" road for business and society.Observing the current situation of domestic corporations to fulfill their social responsibilities in recent years, State Grid Corporation of China is more representative. Its integrity of the interpretation and implementation of certain extent is ahead of domestic Corporations. So, this paper selects State Grid Corporation of China for case studying. Based on extensive data collection, this paper analyses the practice situation of State Grid Corporation of China 'CSR. Firstly, this paper introduces the Corporation and the course of china electric power industry reform. Then, the paper use stakeholder theory to define the content of CSR in State Grid Corporation of China. Secondly, the author reorganize the collecting data and sum up the practice content from stakeholder,customer,staff,environment and social development aspects. Based on this, the successful experience and the deficiency has summed up. Then, the paper analyses the influencing factors and proposes suggestions for improvement. Finally, the author proposed several main points for corporations to reach success in CSR practicing.There are two purposes of this paper. The first purpose is trying to provide improvable suggestions for State Grid Corporation of China. The second purpose is providing a practice steps and patterns of corporate social responsibility management for domestic corporations.
