Recently, with the rapid exploitation of hot spring tourism in our country. The recreations emerge like the bamboo shoots after spring rain. However, the development model and products are almost the same. The development of hot spring tourism products is facing Challenges.This paper takes West Grand Canyon as an example in order to study its tourism resources characteristics and tourism products development.The first section deals with the reason why I write the paper .First of all, the paper talks about the significance of innovation of tourism product. And meanwhile the paper describes the present situation of hot-spring tour both inside and abroad.The second section it generally instructs its geological background and development conditions of tourism .The third section it focus on the tourism resources characteristics and tourism products development research .Does qualitative and quantitative evaluation on the base of categories ,especially evaluate the main resource—hot spring .The fourth section, combined with the current situation of its tourism products, analyzes the problems and challenges in the development process ,discusses strategy of products development ,tourism development concepts and ideas,its layout and position,tourism products design marketing strategy and so on. Lastly, discusses the countermeasures of its sustainable development.The improvement of this paper is listed as below:(1) Comprehensively and systematically discuss tourism resources features of West Grand Canyon. (2)Evaluate the hot spring resources.(3)Research the development on the base of studying tourism resources features.
