| The development of American IT industry has attracted worldwide attention, in my point of view, that stems from the good internal mechanisms of American IT industry. Although it is a large and complex system, I believe that it is an effective way to study the development mechanism of American IT industry through its characteristics. This paper makes a more in-depth study and exploration towards American IT industry's development from the following four parts.Part one analyzes the driving force and foundation of American IT industry's formation, from the gradual decline of American traditional industries, combining the leading development of American information technology, the absolute superiority of it foundational study and its highly developed market economy.Part two makes a detailed exposition of the promoting mechanisms, analyses the government's macroeconomic policy-oriented role in the development of American IT industry and the financing driving force of American capital market. It also points out that the sense of crisis, culture of innovation, spirit of entrepreneurship and education are the culture-driving force of American IT industry's development.Part three focuses on the basic form of American IT industry's development, including SME which are its vectors, the mergers and reorganizations which is its structure form, as well as the cluster model which offers its developing innovative space.Part four studies the developing strategy of American IT industry with analyzing the transformation of traditional industries, the rapid development of information services, and the way to make use of talents and the whole world information industry market.The success of American IT industry development model is useful in helping China to solve the problems encountered on the road of Chinese IT industry. It enlightens us how to use science and technology to develop our advantaged industries, and also provides a reference for us in restructuring industries and finding new industries. |
