Research On The Method Of Project Portfolio Selection

Project portfolio selection is the key stage of project portfolio management, and the existing studies on project portfolio selection have many shortage, such as portfolio selection process was not reasonable, evaluation index system is not comprehensive enough, the majority of portfolio choice model is divorced from reality, existing portfolio selection methods can not satisfy the needs of solving practical problems. Address these deficiencies, the paper research the method of project portfolio selection from three part: the strategic-oriented project portfolio selection process model; project strategic coincidence degree assessment based on evidence theory; integer plan model of project portfolio selection with interaction of projects.Proposed the strategic-oriented project portfolio selection process model. Through the analysis of the relationship between strategy, project and project portfolio management ,we point out that enterprise strategy is the orientation of project portfolio selection.And then ,we put forward three principles of the selection.At last, we construction the strategic-oriented project portfolio selection process model under the guide of the principles.Put forward project strategic coincidence degree assessment based on evidence theory. Firstly the thesis point out the weakness of the current project evaluation ,point out the view that the project evaluation process should begin with the project strategic coincidence degree assessment. Then establish the evaluation index system base on the analysis of strategy . Considering about that the process of project strategic coincidence degree estimation contains much uncertainty , we advance the method of project strategic coincidence degree assessment based on evidence theory and give concrete evaluation steps .Proposed the integer plan model of project portfolio selection with interaction of projects. The interaction of projects are divided into three type ,income-related,resources-related,others-related.Then improve the methord so that it can express the interaction of projects which include more than three projects.Followingly,the integer plan model with interaction of projects was proposed.
