| It's about 10 years for ecotourism certification to be developted in abroad, but currently local ecotourism certification is still placed in a beginning step. It will contribute a lot to the development of ecotourism projects and construction of ecotourism destination to devise a framework of indicators for ecotourism certification.Based on a systematic review of ecotourism theories and the development of ecotourism certification, investigation by myself in the Wulingshan scenic area, interviewing the staffs of this scenicarea, and combining with related theories and research production, the author advances the indicators of ecotourism certification and develops an ecotourism certification indicator framework. The indicator system includes the resources, the facilities, environmental education of the ecotourism and related benefits' etc. 4 parts, containing a total of 31 indicators. This text uses Decision Table Method for Weighting Factor to ascertain the weight of indicators. With referrence to related China national standards, successful practices observed in scenic area, advice contributed by experts and related research theories, the author applies standardization process to the indicator framework and devolops the evaluation standards and model for ecotourism certification.For a case study, the model and standards are used to assess the Wulingshan nature reserve area in Hebei province. As a result, the tourism activities of Wulingshan are belong to ecotourism. The author analyzes the resulte of the ecotourism certification and points out the shortage of the ecotourism improvement and applies improved advices in this area. |
