Study On The Ecotourism Interpretation System In Feng Lin Nature Reserve

Ecotourism has been the main mode of current tourism industry's development, and conducted in China's most nature reserve extensively at the same time. However, the ecotourism interpretation system in the nature reserve is still at the level of traditional sightseeing tourism. The plans, designs and other aspects of interpretation system lack functions of education, environmantal protection and local culture protection, which hardly reflect the features of ecotourism. There are lots of studies on tourism interpretation system in different types of areas worldwide, such as the forest park, geopark and museum tourism interpretation system, etc.. However, until now there is lack of research for nature reserve. In order to protect abundant resources of nature reserves in China, and to achieve a win-win situation between protection and tourism development in nature reserve, tourism interpretation has been chosen as the entry point in this paper, to establish a suitable ecotourism interpretation system for our nature reserve and promote the development of nature reserve.Feng Lin National Nature Reserve has been chosen as the research object of this paper. Commentary by domestic and foreign tourism-related theoretical and practical overview of the status of research to explain the nature reserve ecotourism interpretation system's unique content. After researching, the problems existing in the tourism interpretaion system of Feng Lin Nature Reserve have been pointed out, for example, the interpretation system is immethodical, the subject is unclear, lack of ecological environmental education function, etc... Based on the ecotourism interpretation system satisfaction survey data analysis, this paper brings the RAT franmmework of tourism interpretation system for Feng Lin Nature Reserve. It contains evaluation of tourism interpretation resources, the analysis of audiences and design of interpretation technology, which build a perfect ecotourism interpretation system. At the same time, gives specific planning and design for the ecotourism interpretation system in Feng Lin Nature Reserve.This RAT framework of tourism interpretation system in Feng Lin Nature Reserve tries to find a creative way of resolving the conflict between tourism development and environmental protection by analyzing the aspect of tourism interpretation system; focuses on how to guide tourists directly via tourism interpretation system, which breaks the traditional ways emphasizing on the protection of resource while ignoring the self-restraint ability of tourists. However, due to the constraints of time and the scope of study, the applying of the results of this study in other types of nature reserves needs to be further verified. Thus, in order to achieve overall sustainable development of nature reserves in China, the author suggests that the study of interpretation theory and practice, the evaluation of interpretation effect, the establishment of interpretation feedback system in nature reserves should be focus on.
