China's aging population is getting increasingly serious. Compared to the developed countries, the differences are "not rich, old first" and "speed, and large quantities, and less protection". The policy of family planning will lead to a bad result that there will be a larger number of "four-two-one" type families "empty-nest" families in china, which makes endowment increasingly unrealistic to rely on their children. At this background, we need for pension innovation to develop a new pension choice. More and more people are being attention to a new type of pension ways in abroad ---- housing reverse mortgages endowment model. Then whether are there objective conditions? Whether is there operability? What will it impact on family, the community, individuals and lending institutions? What are the problems in implementing the model in China? How is its development prospects? By using the theory and methods in sociology any demographic, based on investigation China's current operation of the housing reverse mortgages endowment model, this study issues in-depth analysis and discussion on the above questions. Systematically explore housing reverse mortgages endowment patterns of development issues and related countermeasures. Finally the study draw a conclusion that housing reverse mortgages endowment model is adapted to an aging society.
