Study On The Farmers' Scientific Accomplishment In The Vision Of New Countryside Construction

The improvement of People's scientific accomplishment often lags behind the changes of phenomenons caused by the social science and technology in real life, what hampers social progress, this "backward" and " Inconsistent" is particularly prominent in China's farmers. New Countryside Contruction is a multi-aspects systematical project what concerns rural politics, economy, culture, science and technology, education, health, social security, ecological environment and the people's livelihood etc.Its practice and the fundamental solution is up to the farmers who are the main force in it. In contemporary China's social transformation process, the farmers' scientific accomplishment as a constraining factor of social development system , impact on the rural society, but will also profoundly affect the harmonious development of New Countryside Contruction. In view of this,we need to have an overall grasp to the current situation and understanding on Chinese peasants' scientific accomplishment,and identify what the bottleneck of constrainting it is.Then we can search the effective ways to improve peasants' scientific accomplishment .The study uses sociological and political theory and methods to conduct in-depth analysis of the effects on farmers' scientific accomplishment, through the investigation of the countysides, Fujian Province.By empirical investigation and theoretical analysis, the study concludes that the reason restricting farmers scientific accomplishment is the long-term formation of the urban-rural dual system .To improve and enhance the farmers scientific accomplishment should start from the crack of urban and rural inequality,structure and promote the social environment with scientific development atmosphere in the backdrop of New Socialist Countryside Contruction, increase investment in rural education and the supply of public goods, guide the rational flow of rural labor force, encourage policy-oriented of talents to rural areas in the existing socio-economic and cultural environment.
