An Empirical Research On The Critical Impact Factors Of Knowledge Spillover Effects

In the era of knowledge economy, knowledge has become the most important resource for enterprises. An enterprise is not a node as a closed, independent existence, but at a certain network,that suppliers and downstream customers, competitors, universities, research institutions, governments, and other intermediaries institutions flows and absorpt each knowledge ,reaches the technology of the existing mainstream alternative. Knowledge spillover is an externality,which means supplier of knowledge carelessly overflows the knowledge,and acceptor of the knowledge don't compensate supplier during application of acquired knowledge consciously or unconsciously and amalgamation of other's and own knowledge to new knowledge, thus supplier don't acquire all benefit of creating knowledge or compensation less than cost of creating knowledge,the knowledge be acquired by this way and the process of acquiring the knowledge are named knowledge spillover. Knowledge spillover contains knowledge sender and knowledge receiver. Therefore, the mainstream literature on the research of knowledge spillover effect mainly in the following three perspectives: the knowledge sender perspective, knowledge receiver perspective, third-party perspective (such as community, the government, hi-tech parks, industrial clusters, etc.). While the theoretical concept of this paper,the model of this paper and empirical survey are on the basis of the knowledge receiver perspective. So, knowledge spillover effect in this paper is the manifestation of knowledge overflow performance for the knowledge needs of the recipient,the digestion and absorption of knowledge innovation and economic growth driven by knowledge spillover effect.The paper hackles correlative documents of knowledge spillover ,then analyzes class,measurement and demonstration of knowledge spillover and knowledge spillover effect reached. Most importantly the paper has shaped a basic frame of theory of influential factors of knowledge spillover effect.This paper has investigate nearly 110 enterprises,and analysised the influential factors of knowledge spillover effect .This paper has analysised from five influential factors: knowledge itself, the knowledge receiver,the way of knowledge spillover as well as the scene of knowledge spillover.Generally,the main conclusions include: (1) The tacit degree of knowledge has effected knowledge spillover,explicit knowledge is easier to spillover than tacit knowledge.(2) For knowledge receiver: the attitude of the enterprise administrator to the knowledge management,the enterprise culture and human relations,and enterprise stimulate mechanism , the sensitivity of new knowledge and the ability to study and absorb new knowledge have effected positively knowledge spillover.(3) Different way of knowledge spillover has created different knowledge spillover effects. (4) The scene of knowledge spillover also has influenced to knowledge spillover achievements. (5) Enterprise scale affects knowledge spillover effect.
