With the market competition's fury, more and more problems of management system and management ideas appear gradually during the rapid development of domestic insurance companies. The customer management model guided by insurance products can't satisfy the market development needs. The existence of customer credit risk, such as insurance cheat and high loss ratio, not only influences the enterprise's healthy development, but also interferes the normal market order. These problems are attributed to the counter choices and moral risk caused by information asymmetry between companies and customers. In order to increase the returns and competitiveness, domestic insurance companies have to establish a scientific customer evaluation system with modern information technology and set up a customer-oriented management model.In this dissertation, the author first illustrates the related concepts of insurance customer theory. She also points out the problems existing in the domestic insurance business at present by analyzing the reasons which cause the customer credit risk, the characteristics and the present situation of customer management. Then the author compares the modern credit assessment methods with the old ones. According to the situation of financial business credit evaluation system, the principles of building an index system and the characteristics of the insurance business, a system of insurance personal customer evaluation index is built up and the variables involved in the system are analyzed in detail. Thirdly, with the personal customer data of an insurance company as the sample and using the improved BP neural network, the author builds up a customer evaluation model. The model is proved to be effective by experiment because it can determine the mapping relationship between insurance customer evaluation index system and risk coefficient. At last, according to the present situation of insurance credit management development, the author puts forward the methods of building up insurance enterprises customer credit management system and its corresponding development strategies from the aspects of inside and outside environment construction.
