A Research To The Harmonious Development Of Economy And Culture In The Modernization Process

The harmonious development of economy and culture is an outstanding problem appeared in our country's modernization process. Our country is relatively rich in natural and cultural resources. Long standing historical culture and great cultural environment endow different districts in our country with different formation of culture, which offer an abundant cultural origin to the development of districts. At the beginning of 80s,20th ,with bring order out of chaos in ideology, in every districts governors at all levels, academic circles and economic departments thought highly of the excavation, research, exploitation and utilization of culture. While, It created favorable environment and material conditions for the further development of culture research. Culture becomes a popular subject of study in the nation wide gradually. Recently, culture research is extending gradually from material culture to the ideological level. Many scholars consider that regardless of prehistoric culture or recorded culture, Initially they all appeared as material formation on the world. Thus, during a relatively long period, the cultural research is focused on the material level. With the deepening of people's recognization, the cultural research is extending from the initial surface layer material culture to the deep layer, ideological culture and from the textual research to the ideological research. The harmonious development of culture and economy will promote the economic development actively. Conversely, it will prevent the development economy or lead to the deformed development. This paper giving Ordos as an example, analyses the current conditions of the harmonious development of economy and culture during 30 years' reforming and opening. It also puts forward the existed problems and solutions from the strengthening the construction of ecological, city, fundamental facilities of culture and cultivation of qualified personnel.
