Study On Protective Development Of Corridor Heritage Tourism Resources

Corridor Heritage like the Silk Road, the Grant Canal from Beijing to Hangzhou and the Tea-horse Ancient Road has been paid more and more attention by the society since the beginning of the 21st century. This attention upsurge has its deep social and cultural backgrounds. The value of the Corridor Heritage in modern times plays an important role in cultural renaissance of Chinese nation. Corridor Heritage is, also, the concreted reflection of Chinese nation's great resurgence in the fields of heritage tourism and cultural relic protection.Taking and developing the basic theories of the heritage corridor and the cultural routes, the author of this paper puts forward the concept of Corridor Heritage with Chinese characteristics. It's not only a new concept in accordance with China's cultural heritage history and modern protection and development of China's heritage, but also a new method for protecting and developing the heritage. Based on the theoretical retrospect, the author analyzes the meaning, theory origin, value and functions of corridor heritage, proposes basic theories and modes of protective development of corridor heritage tourism resources, and provides theoretical references for the resources' rational development and protection. This paper takes the Silk Road as an example to analyze the protective development of corridor heritage tourism resources.
