Dian-Viet Railway, in Yunnan traffic history as the only one meter-gauge railway still in use, is a great miracle. The railway, which took seven years to complete, is also the crystallization of the wisdom of the chinese, french and Vietnam people. Opened to traffic of Dian-Viet Railway, had a profound impact to the social development and history of Yunnan, and had played an irreplaceable role in various social and historical stage. In2002, due to the speed of40kilometers per hour, the railway can not keep up with the process of development of modern society, can not meet the needs of the community, and for a long time of living beyond their means, the Dian-Viet Railway stop the transportation of the passenger, bue still retains the freight. With the completion of the Trans-Asian Railway, Dian-Viet Railway will gradually exit the stage of history.Dian-Viet Railway construction in the early twentieth century in harsh natural environment, Yunnan has opened a new chapter in the modern industrial civilization, the means of historical and cultural city of Kunming, Kaiyuan, Gejiu, Mengzi. Hekou. etc., its along stations and the industrial landscape within the city are witness of modern historical development of Yunnan. The intersection of Western civilization bringing by Dian-Viet Railway and the Yunnan local culture are here in, became an indispensable element of the Yunnan cultural landscape. After centuries of vicissitudes.changes and in the number of repairs and alterations, Dian-Viet Railway lose its original character. By the urban development, many valuable historical and cultural industrial heritage is disappearing.This article focuses on the Dian-Viet Railway and its feeder Gebishi railway in the territory of Yunnan to build the basic idea of the Industrial Heritage Corridor. Dian-Viet Railway as a linear industrial heritage to a decentralized industrial heritage sites in series, to be protected as a whole. Governments, institutions and individuals of Dian-Viet Railway's attention and protection is increasing, but a lot of the industrial heritages are not located in the core area of industrial heritage sites of Dian-Viet Railway, their distribution is relatively dispersiable, and can not receive enough attention and lack of management, sometimes the industrial relics have destroyed.In this paper, by investigation, research and analysis of the Dian-Viet Railway and its feeder Gebishi railway, will build the Vietnam Railway Industrial Heritage Corridor, analysis its reasonability, and then propose the issues of building the Dian-Viet Railway Industrial Heritage Corridor, it is envisaged that the overall framework to build the Vietnam Railway Industrial Heritage Corridor, and eventually present design and conceive of the Dian-Viet Railway Industrial Heritage Corridor.
