The lack of such a large scale linear heritage protection system about the grand canal in China, making the heritage corridor which is a new heritage protection concept been widely researched and applied. Under the background of the growing of tourism development along the canal, arises at the historic moment of heritage corridor has very strong timeliness and guidance, making it possible to have protection and tourism development developed harmoniously.Now,China’s study of current tourism development of the heritage corridor is insufficient,the only research just focused on the tourist hotspot cities along the canal,such as Yangzhou, Suzhou, Hangzhou and so on, however, special settlements along the canal heritage- ancient canal town is neglected, the related research is very scarce. The ancient canal town sustained great responsibility of being a grain transportation hub, administration, military defense and other a series of functions,some ancient town even was a historical important regional business center.With the transformation of function of the grand canal, towns along the canal usher in the newopportunities and challenges. At present, part of canal towns which is in the support of applying for heritage begin to go on the track of renewal-travel promoting town, But blind disorder of construction activities are eroding the the heritage of the ancient town rich resources and distinctive ancient town features, "Fragmented " management model,it is obvious that the similarity of the canal heritage resources bring the problem such as vicious competition, "Fragmented " severely restricts the sustainable development of the ancient town.At the same time, it also greatly weakens the canal as a heritage corridor integrity, connectivity and authenticity. The author treats heritage corridor as the breakthrough point and canal town as research object, trying to explore the related issues of tourism development. First of all, basing on the analysis for the related theory of heritage corridor and its tourism development, the author grasps the theoretical basis of the article. Secondly,according to the analysis and evaluation of the present situation of ancient towns’ tourism development along the canal, the author concludes the prevalence problems in common, the connotation of the tourism development of heritage corridor is clear by solving the common problems, and creatively constructs the value evaluation index system which is based on the perspective of heritage corridor of ancient town tourism. Finally, treating canal suqian section Zaohe town as the object to study, using the methord of Analytic Hierarchy Process(AHP), Delphi method, Fuzzy Mathematics method to evaluate the value of the tourism, through the evaluation to get the conclusion and analysis, clarifying its important influence factors and restricting factors in the process of tourism development and so on, and put forward countermeasures under the perspective of heritage corridor Zaohe town tourism development, so as to provide instructive reference for tourism development of Zaohe town and other ancient canal town.
