Research And Application Of Tobacco Industry's Business Process Reengineering Under Supply Chain

Supply chain management and business process reengineering are the two management model by which enterprises try to promote competence from external and internal of organizational, while facing market-orientation, rapid change and severe competition of external market environment. The two models have been paid attention to rapidly around the world since they were born. However, the competition among modern enterprises is the competition among supply chains to which those enterprises belong, aiming at pursuing wholly best of supply chain and promoting common development of entire industry. Under the background, the research of business process reengineering under supply-chain environment is getting more and more attention by enterprises and Scholars. But now, the research is still on its initial stage. With the development our tobacco industry's reform, the development of the industry has entered its major strategic and adjustment stage. The tobacco industry faces with stress and challenge from domestic and international society. Doing research of the tobacco industry's business process reengineering from the angel of supply chain management is the request of development of the tobacco industry's logistics construction and the necessary means of constructing modern logistics system. Therefore, I did the research on the tobacco industry's business process reengineering under supply chain through this paper.Firstly, this paper is about the research of principals, tools and means, implementation of business process reengineering under the supply chain environment, based on analysis of the relationship between supply chain management and business process reengineering.Secondly, I analyzed the supply chain of tobacco industry. The business processes are embodied primarily by the processes among enterprises. Supply chain processes are bigger and more complicated than the process in enterprise. This paper describes the hierarchical structure of the tobacco supply chain, analyzes properties of the tobaccosupply chain. It has also found out the questions exist in the tobacco supply chain, and the key points of solving the problem, namely business collaboration process reengineering.Thirdly, I put forward modeling and analyzing means of the tobacco industry's supply chain business process reengineering based on Petri net through analyzing many model tools. Taking advantage of strengthens and features of Petri net, I have studied the relationship among the internal activities of enterprise, embodied the internal activities of enterprise thoroughly. It laid the foundation of effective development of BPR. Through these studies, I have given the technical means of business process reengineering based on Petri net.Finally, I model and analyze the business hand-over of the tobacco supply chain, and implement the process reengineering.I have studied the business process reengineering under supply chain environment from whole and systematic angel, and created the new view of business process reengineering. Meanwhile, I have adopted the process modeling method of Petri net and applied it to the tobacco industry, and developed the technical implementing method of business process reengineering.
