Research On Professional Managers' Organizational Identification

In recent years, with the development of economy, the professional managers are playing more and more vital roles in the society stage. The research on psychology and behavior of the professional managers are more and more valued by the scholars. Organizational identification refers to the perceived oneness with an organization and relevant behaviors. Organizational identification includes perceived organizational identification and organizational citizenship behavior.Based on the summary of past studies, this paper developed a causal model of perceived organizational identification by applying the related theories on human resources management and organizational behavior. This paper introduce the concept and structure of professional manager's organizational identification and analyze the most main factor to impact the professional manager's organizational identification and relationship model of organizational identification and through the theoretical analysis and empirical study. Also, this paper establishes the relationship model of professional manager's organizational identification; meanwhile, with the application of questionnaire research and statistics method, this paper validates the accuracy of the model. The main results were showed as follows: (1)Interpersonal relationship was an important antecedent of perceived organizational identifications among professional managers.(2)Organizational justices were important antecedents of perceived organizational identifications among professional managers.(3)Organizational atmosphere was an important antecedent of perceived organizational identifications among professional managers.(4)Organizational citizenship behaviors were important consequences of perceived organizational identifications among professional managers.(5)Scenario factors of organization and individual had complicated influence on professional manager's organizational identification. Working years and enterprise size had influence on part dimensionality of organizational identification. Then this paper raise some effective advises to increase the professional manager's organizational identification. After summary of results and discussion of theoretical and practical implications, the thesis further put forward its limitations and the direction of the relevant research.The innovation of this paper lies in developing a causal model of perceived organizational identification of professional managers, by applying the related theories on human resources management and organizational behavior. The innovation also lies in proposing the new idea and measure to improve professional manager's organizational identification. It is advantageous for the enterprise to understand the psychology and behavior of the professional managers.
