As China's market economy development, construction projects change from a planned economy to a market economy model, project management change from extensive management to the refinement of management. This will inevitably increase the uncertainty, and risks are facing increased.Many Experts and scholars have already committed to research in the field of risk management in the past.However, the construction project risk management has not yet formed a standardized scientific system, especially the perspective of risk management contracts of owners, has not yet commenced in-depth exploration and research. For construction projects, the owners are from the beginning to the end of the projects. The system of contracts risk management of the owners of the project to conduct a comprehensive and in the entire process, have important significance to ensure project quality and construction period, security,and to improve the business and social benefits. This article is in this context under study.In the first, this article introducts the contract, contract management, construction contracts, and construction contract management ,and identify the relationship between the owners and related parties ,and introducts the characteristics of the type of contracts for us.Secondly, this article introducts the the classification and causes of contract riskat every stage, on the basis of the brief introduction of risk theory, to lay the foundation by analysis the risk of the different contract type. The focus of this paper is the construction contract risk management. In accordance with the construction contract risk management, procedures were carried out to the identify of the contract risk, the contract risk estimates, the contract risk assessment, risk management contracts, and each process introducts several common methods.According to China's contract management and the risk control in the actual situation, the owners should establish a risk control system, including the establishment of the control systems, the organizational system,the personnel system,the operating system. Third, from the perspective of owners, the risk management of the survey and design contracts, construction contracts, the commissioner of the contract, material procurement contracts, each contract carries out the identification of the risk, the estimation of the risk, the assessment of the risk, the control of the risk.In accordance with the process of the construction contract risk management, the risk control will be divided into three stages . Finally , on the basis of the first few chapters of this paper, for examples of this renovation project of Xinjiang Reserve 835, we carry out the contracts risk management,from the perspective of the owners of various so that theory with practical.
