The Research On Risk Factors In Medium And Small-Scale Software Enterprises' Project Development

With the advancement of technology, the software industry in China is at a stage of growth and development. Especially in small-scale software enterprises, there is more than vitality. The developments of the small-scale enterprises'projects in our country have reached the historical climax both in the quantity and types. At the same time, small-scale enterprises in the project have the problems of overruns of cost, over limit of time and the poor expected of project functions, which result in the high failure rate in the developments of software projects.This paper bases on the theory of software developments in the small-scale enterprises and the research in related fields at home and abroad. It seeks to find out the small-scale enterprises'main risk factors in the software development processes in order to deal with the high failure rate. Through demonstration, this paper discovers 16 risk factors in 4 stages of small-scale enterprises'software development processes, which are different from the big software enterprises'. The article concludes with the ways how to avoid these risks. At the same time it points out that it is important of small-scale enterprises to adopt modals in the processes of software development.
