Study On The Inventory Coordination Strategy For Supply Chain With Information Sharing

The competition in 21st century is the competition among the supply chains, the one based on time and customer require, all this makes the supply chain management requisition higher. And the inventory management is the key point of supply chain management, with the concept of supply chain management embeding, the in-depth reserch and frenetic execution creates a boom of inventory control in America & Europe, while different in China. The main reason is lag of research and consciousness. Thought reserch has begun for several years with focus of concept an foreground, we ignored the inventory coordination strategy, which pushes theory into execution. It formed a bottleneck of inventory coordination strategy in supply chain, so the urgent is to find an effective theory which can guide the development of internal domestic inventory management in supply chain!Based on above statement, we take"supply chain inventory coordination strategy"as subject of this thesis. The coming of information age speeds up and precise the communication beteen enterprises, meanwhile changing the management ideations. According to fact of good hardware but weak effect, so informatin sharing among vendor-manufacter provides a important guideline. So how to induce information sharing and updating to cater for supply chain inventory coordination is intention of below research & analysis.To expound the topic, this thesis was expanded along by following process: firstly the concept, composition and influences factor of supply chain inventory coordination & information sharing; then compare analysis for the value of information sharing in supply chain; then we found the systemic model of supply chain inventory coordination based on information sharing, with the deficiency of information sharing. Finally we prove the validity for above model through analyzing the case of Xi'an Silver Bus Corporation. Hope to give some elicitation for those companies which want to implement inventory coordination in supply chain.
