Research On The Problems And Countermeasures Of Small Town Construction In Pastoral Areas Of Inner Mongolia

"Speeding up the town's development, taking developing road with Chinese characteristics", The Party Central Committee made such a far-sighted strategic decision in the light of our national conditions and the tendency and regularity in different countries in the world. As a less–developed region, because of bitter environment and backward development, the developing scope hasn't been expensive, the infrastructure is weak and the structure of production is not rational. Urban construction is still at its beginning stages.With the West Exploration, protecting and building new ecology environment presents new opportunities for economic growth in small town construction. So in order to increase economic growth in pastoral areas, our focal point is to quicken small town construction, enhance economic radiation effect, recruit surplus labors from rural and pastoral areas, adjust structure of production, rationalize livestock husbandry, propel economic development forward and increase income. The sustainable development in small towns is an important part of urbanization. We need to study the sustainable development in small towns to ensure the urban development. It is an event of historic significance on urbanization development, coordinating development between cities and rural areas as well as the sustainable development of national economy.The paper mainly shows that, under the present advantage of the Zhenglan Banner, the sustainable development is to coordinate the development between cities and rural areas, make rational use of resources, protect the environment, transfer labors rationally, improve constructing quality, enhance economic strength in small towns, build towns with distinguishing feature and make the sustainable development go forward smoothly. We must further investigate and study certain model so as to spread it in pastoral areas.
