| Manor Economy in Eastern Han Dynasty (MEEHD) is such a kind of economic form that bases on feudal large estates as its foundation, the production in manors as its major content, and relation of land as its typical feature. It is means for feudal landlords to manage their manors and is the result of social productivity development. From the developing path of manor economy, we can know the development level of MEEHD as well as the relationship between MEEHD and natural economy. In the view of land and population, which are two basic elements of MEEHD, we can see that the form of MEEHD is the result of feudal relation of land and the relation of denpendence. The result of review shows that production of MEEHD is of diversification both in the production of agriculture and handicraft, the writer makes a conclusion that the commodity economy inside MEEHD is very active; with more analysis, we can finds out the major features and limitations of MEEHD. The development of MEEHD has certain reflection on superstructure. So from regime and clan power we can figure out the influence and position of MEEHD in the whole social system of Eastern Han.This paper is divided into 6 parts totally.In foreword part, it introduces the present research condition of MEEHD in our academic circle, elaborates reasons and value of the selection of this subject.In chapter 1, it points out the level of Eastern Han manor economic development through the statement of developing path of manor economy, and analyses the relationship between MEEHD and natural economy-they are complementary and contradictory to each other.In chapter 2, it illustrates the basic construction of MEEHD, and its two basic essential elements: land and population.In chapter 3, it analyses the operation condition in agriculture, handicraft and commodity of MEEHD, and points out the major features and limitations of MEEHD.In chapter 4, it discusses the superstructure changes reflected on MEEHD, specifically some changes in Eastern Han's regime and clan power.In the last part, it gives an evaluation on MEEHD in the historical whole and development perspective. |
