The current information society is a digital one, in which the Digital IC (microprocessor, memory, standard logic circuit) is in extensive use. Faced with a great amount of digital IC products, it becomes an important task how to evaluate its performance objectively and quantitatively. Nowadays, people mainly use a single index or subjective method which is lack of science, system and objectivity to evaluate the performance of digital IC products, so that they get the evaluation results which are not commonly used and not easy to compare in level.Being directed against this situation, this paper studies the performance evaluation model of digital IC products, and focus on performance indicators of digital IC products system construction, analysis the method of evaluation model and BP-PCA evaluation model. Firstly, this paper proposes the function of evaluation indexes , guidance line and design principle of the evaluation index.Acorrding to these ideological principles,the author establishes the preliminary index system of digital IC products.Secondly, two methods of improvement about evaluation model be presented after analyzing the disadvantage of traditional PCA method. Through comparation of the two methods, the thesis innovationally proposes BP-PCA evaluation model. Finally, with depth study of the evaluation model,the paper builds a comprehensive and systematic evaluation of the digital IC model. This modeling method can simulate the way of expert to evaluate any digital IC products objectively and realistically.Empirical research shows that using BP-PCA modeling method to build evaluation model, which not only has a good evaluation results, better universal, openness, novelty, and also can be operate easyly.
