Research On The Application Of RFID In The Field Of Postal Logistics In China

Radio Frequency Identification (RFID), the automatic identification technology basing on radio frequency, is showing the potential advantages on the market and promoting the development of logistics management and supply chain management because of its advantages on quick, invisible, mobile, multi-target identification, orientation, track management, and so on. It is the trend of development of automatic identification and has important influence on modern industry and service. To improve the development of independent knowledge property of RFID and the application of RFID in China, the State Science and Technology Bureau starts up the item of and writes it in 863 schedule. This dissertation studies the key factor of the application of RFID in postal logistics in China, basing on the examples of RFID applying in logistics, using the management theories, analyzing the benefits of application, considering the working pattern of Chinese postal logistics. The aim is to help to build up the competition power of the Chinese corporation in the international logistics market.
