Study On The Cost Control Mode Based On The Knowledge Management

Fast development of knowledge brings challenge and chance for cost control. It's essential for enterprises to implement knowledge management idea and technology to control cost. Constituting knowledge base is one important way to manage knowledge. Cost knowledge sharing can be available by classifying knowledge for cost control and storing it in cost knowledge base, so that knowledge as strategic resource can serve for cost decision and cost responsibility assessment. And, that is a new method to control cost for enterprise in the Knowledge Age.In this paper, cost knowledge is concluded and classed according to characteristic of modern cost control, knowledge is represented by object-oriented knowledge representation, and cost knowledge base is organized by relation database technology. Then, knowledge mode of cost control which has core of cost knowledge base constituted by implementing Agent, Data-mining, etc. Finally, the application flow of this mode is analyzed in a case.Under knowledge mode of cost control, application of cost knowledge, feedback mechanism and assessment mechanism make it be more effective to cost decision-making, strengthen responsibility of cost control in different phase of product life cycle, and update cost knowledge base and renovate enterprises' cost control.
