Recently the tourism is booming all over the world. Since the decline of the agricultural and industrial activity in many countries, the rural regions take tourism as the most valuable alternative to restructure the local economy. Especially in the developing countries, tourism has become the main industry to promote the local economy. So the tourism has important influences on the very aspects of the regions, such as economic, social, cultural and environmental aspects. Let alone the tourism-related employees, the influences over them have more diversity. The studies have shown that the influence of the tourism on the gender of the hosts is different. The researchers have been keeping eyes on this topic and have made great achievement abroad since 1960s. But in our country the researchers give much more attention to the female tourists while quite few researcher about the host women. Although the gender is often the variable factor in many studies, it is rarely as a topic. Therefore, on the basis of the host women, the thesis attempts to compare between intergender and intragender to reveal the women's life situations and the difficulty and at the end to provide valuable ideas on the women's better development in tourism. Qishan region is situated in the southwest of Fuzhou city. Its main tourism resources are the ecological tourism of forestry and the local catering industry. Most of the employees are the local women. Based on the field surveys and interviews, the thesis lies special emphasis on the influences on the women and gives causes and the suggestions.
