Study On Development Of Rural Tourism In Fuzhou Suburbs Based On GIS

Rural landscape is a kind of landscapes which arose early in the world and is distributed most widespreadly. By exploiting the rural landscape resources to develop rural tourism, not only overall plans can be made for the development of social economy of urban and rural areas, but also the construction of rural landscape can be accelerated and the beautiful mountain scenery can be recovered. Based on the theory and methods of landscape ecology and the means of GIS, the rural landscape types of Fuzhou suburbs are extracted to establish the database. Furthermore, features and differences among space of rural landscape in this area are analyzed quantitatively by choosing landscape richness, diversity, dominance, evenness and fragmentation as the indices. The results show: ① Rural natural landscape is predominant, and hill coniferous woods compose the matrix of rural landscape. ② Farmland patches which are widely spread in large quantity combine with forest matrix to form the unique mountain forest rural scenery. ③. The diversity of rural landscape can meet various tourist aesthetic needs. ④ The rural landscape is deeply affected by human being, so the quality of ecological environment and aesthetics of tourism in the rural area is not good enough.Based on the research and the theory and methods of AVC, index system of AVC evaluation of rural tourism development of Fuzhou suburbs is established, and the rural tourism development of the 11 towns in this area is assessed and analyzed quantitatively with the method of AHP. Therefore, traditional qualitative analysis of tourism resources and the means of GIS can be combined organically by this way. It can be concluded that towns in the study area such as Shoushan, Huanxi, Rixi, Gulin, Lanqi and Lintou possess great value for rural tourism.With the plan and development of the rural tourism of the above 6 towns, problems such as guidance thought, strategic goal, principles for development, market positioning and design for tourism image are discussed in this paper, especially landscape plan and design.
