Developing individual auto consumption credit is a requirement for economic development, starting the demand of which is of great importance for the acceleration of industrial economy, even for the whole national economy. To develop auto consumption credit is beneficial to improve the optimization of financial institutions, activating their credit stock and enlarging their credit increment, which leads to a better capital utilization rate. Further more, with the auto consumption started up residents'lives will become more convenient and their consumption structure more advanced. Finally auto consumption credit will promote the establishment of individual credit system. However, compared with foreign countries, auto consumption credit in China is not very satisfactory, which does not adapt to the rapid increasing demand for automobiles. There are many factors restricting the development of auto consumption credit in our country, among which imperfect auto credit system serves as the most knotty one, at the same time, non ideal auto consumption credit model has become a bottleneck for China's auto credit development. Therefore, the most crucial issue to be dealt with is the establishment of an effective credit system.This paper analyses the current development situation and related domestic and international researches of auto consumption credit synthetically using a systematic analytical method, especial attention has been paid to the present management situation in China, from which purpose and significance of developing auto consumption credit can be extracted. Basing on the systemic discussion of correlation theory and concepts of auto consumption credit, it probes into the development history, influencing factors and problems of auto consumption credit presently. After that, using analytic hierarchy process, factors that restrict the development of auto credit are studied, together with the market behaviors of both creditors and debtors. The paper analyses various auto consumption credit models systemically, concluding their advantages and disadvantages, following that superiority of foreign auto credit models is given with Japan and U.S.A taken for examples. Based on actual situation, the paper puts forward relevant strategies to perfect the management of auto consumption credit in China.The research in this paper provides essential theoretical method and tactical support for the management of auto consumption credit and enhancement of comprehensive competitiveness.
