Research On The Growth Of Entrepreneurial Firms In Jiangsu Based On Independent Innovation

If there were no creative culture and entrepreneurship sprit, there is no motive force of the development of a country or an area, and head for decline easily,if there were profound creative culture and high-spirited entrepreneurship, there is continuous motive force of the development, and bring flourishing.Today, the expediting of integration of world economy and the coming of the age of knowledge-based economy have made innovation and entrepreneurship become the themes, have become an important way for economy development, and have caused the concern of world. Scholars from every country have done much study of independent innovation and entrepreneurship, which includes many scholars of our country, whereas, their study of entrepreneurship focus on introducing or describing phenomena and behavior, which is limited to superficial description and is lack of systemic and in-depth exposition, they usually separate the study of independent innovation from entrepreneurship, but independent innovation and entrepreneurship are twinborn indeed, entrepreneurial firms which insist on independent innovation can grow better.This dissertation tried to take in combination of the study of independent innovation from entrepreneurship and take Jiangsu province which has economic and cultural power for subject investigated, this is because Jiangsu is the first province in China to put forward the strategy of"invigorating province though science and technology", and it is one of these areas in China with most highly advanced technologies, since the start of the reform and opening-up era, Jiangsu focused on improving capability of independent innovation and great achievements have been made.Firstly, this dissertation analyses the connotation of some theory such as innovation from entrepreneurship, which forms the basis of research on the following. Secondly, researches on the current situation of entrepreneurial firms in Jiangsu, through designing questionnaire and doing survey, realize the status quo and independent innovation capability of new venture, Jiangsu has strong capability of independent innovation and entrepreneurship, but there are many questions, for example, new ventures have difficult in financing and getting the best talents, lack of capability of independent innovation, disjoint enterprises-universities-researches, which will affect its independent innovation and growth. This essay analyses two typical cases of entrepreneurial firm, in order to find their successes for other's information, and to provide thoughts for making suggestions. Finally, aim at the existing problems and put forward related suggestions on the growth of entrepreneurial firms based on independent innovation in Jiangsu.
