The Construction Of Performance Efficiency Appraising System Of The Commercial Banks In China And The Empirical Research

As we all know, commercial banks which play an important part in the financial field support the development of the national economy. With joining the WTO, the commercial banks of China will face to unprecedented challenges——not only with the domestic banks, but also with the foreign banks. Approving the banks'competitiveness is the base of the banks'competition. And one of the competition performance is the performance efficiency of the banks.This paper mainly analyzes the existing question of the appraisal system, then construct the new appraising system that fits for Chinese commercial bank. Then applying efficacy coefficient and principal analysis to appraise the performance efficiency of the bank which had gone to the A market before April, 2007. According to compare the advantages and shortages of two methods, and analyze the results, we can offer the pointed suggestions.Usually,the appraising system of the commercial bank research on the financial indicator, but the bank has many other factors to think ,such as customer factor,the product and service factor,management factor and so on. So the real reasonable and valid appraising system should include the financial indicator and non-financial indicator, that is qualitative indicator. Then, this paper thinks the importance of the qualitative indicator, and makes the quantitative indicator and qualitative indicator into one appraising system that will have an evaluation for our commercial bank .In the same time, paper will have a horizontal contrast by using the principal analysis and efficacy coefficient to find the advantages and disadvantages, It is hope that this can offer a viable way of thinking for the appraising system of the banks'performance efficiency.This paper takes systematic analysis by the qualitative method and quantitative method, and construct the scientific appraising system for reflecting the performance efficiency more objective. When the empirical research, it offers two analyzed methods, we hope find its advantages, then can provide a feasible thinking or quotable place for finding the better method in the future.
