Thoughts And Practices Of The CPC Pursuing Common Prosperity Since 1949

The CPC has always advocated to narrow the gap between the poor and the rich and to achieve common prosperity of all Chinese people. The leader group, Mao Zedong as the core, had chosen a balanced path when they were pursuing common prosperity since the establishment of P.R.China until the beginning of implementation of opening-up reform. As selecting the development model, Mao Zedong launch the "Great Leap Forward" and the people's commune movement. The leader group, Deng Xiaoping ,as the core, put forward " prosperity in some parts" theory originally .That is to permit some people and area get rich first, and then to achieve common prosperity through developing special economic zone as well as changing the income distribution system. The policy boosts Chinese economy, obviously upgrades people's life, and meanwhile enlarges the gap between the poor and the rich. The 16th NPC advocated to build a moderately prosperous society in all respects, which means that we should construct and enjoy the harmonious society, narrowing the gap between the poor and the rich according to the scientific outlook on Development. The current leader groups carry out a series of policies to increase the income of the poor, to enlarge the middle- income groups, and to adjust and regulate the illegal income.The 17th NPC has showed us the new page about how to solve the problem of the gap between the poor and to rich common prosperity. We believe that the central government and the State Council will definitely achieve the goal of common prosperity and then all Chinese people will enjoy the fruits of modernization.
