The Research Of Air Traffic Management

What does air traffic management research is about how to manage the air traffic efficiently, include air traffic service, air traffic flow management & airspace management. What does air traffic flow management research about is how to arrange the flight flow logically, in order to ensure the air traffic can flight safely, orderly, efficiently, improve the percent of using airspace. With the situation that the flight flow improved rapidly and continually, we have to face this problem, it becomes more important. Rerouting is one method of air traffic flow management, it can deal with the problem of the flights' long-time ground-waiting, improve the aviation companies' benefits, improve the percent of using airspace. The main task of the rerouting research is to find how to organize flights departure and how to select a route for each of these flights to minimize the gross loss caused by bad weather or navigation equipment malfunctions. In this article, we introduce the civil and international methods of this field. We'll use A* algorithm to deal with this problem, the most important is using heuristic searching on dynamic network on the basis of all the flights' priority been determined.
